Gilroy Motorcycle Accident 2017

It was a tragedy that shocked Gilroy and the surrounding area. On September 24th, 2017, a motorcycle accident claimed the lives of three individuals and injured four others in Gilroy, California. The accident happened when a car turning onto Wren Avenue collided with four motorcycles heading east on 10th Street.

The impact of the crash was immense, leaving an entire community heartbroken. The victims were identified as Anthony Mestas, 22, Anayeli Mejia, 18, and Tomas Cardenas, 24. All three were killed in the crash. Four other people were injured, including a child.

The community has been impacted by this tragedy, coming together to support the families of those affected by the accident. Fundraising efforts have been set up to help cover the cost of medical bills and funeral expenses for the victims. Gilroy’s mayor, Roland Velasco, released a statement about the accident, expressing his sympathy for the victims and their families.
